We tried living without a contract because of the above statement. The cold hard facts of life are governed not by us, but by those with whom we do business. Since we have entered the world of investing, we have learned a lot. One of those facts is that companies that loan money want to see rental contracts for properties that you list on your financial statement. Thus, for all future renters, we will have to require a rental contract. We understand the volatile nature of law enforcement work and because of that, we will work with you. If you need to terminate a detail, no problem. If you want to change to another one of our houses, we can do that. (If this is done for your convenience, we will ask that the old house be left in "move in clean condition."). If you hate our house (that ain't gonna happen), we have an escape clause that allows you to move out without penalty within the first week.
